This page explains how to delete your account in Power Couple (the budgeting app for couples, published by Bálint Klinger) and what happens to your data.

How to delete your account

Open Power Couple on your phone, or go to power-couple.app and sign in.
Tap the couple icon in the top-right corner to open the menu.
Choose Your profile.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
Read the summary, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete for ever.

You can also ask us to delete it by writing to [email protected] from the email address on the account. We answer within one month.

What is deleted

Your login and email address, your name and profile settings.
Your survey answers, your encryption keys, your notification registrations and your email preferences.
If you are the last person in your couple: every goal, expense and income record in it, and the couple itself. Nothing is archived and nothing can be restored.

What is kept, and why

If your partner is still in the couple, the goals, expenses and income the two of you saved stay with them, with your name taken off them. They are their records too, and removing them would empty your partner's shared history.
Emails you have sent us stay in our mailbox unless you ask us to delete them.

How long it takes

Deleting from inside the app takes effect immediately. Copies in our encrypted backups are overwritten within 30 days. We keep no other copy.

Cómo eliminar tu cuenta

Abre Power Couple en tu celular, o entra a power-couple.app e inicia sesión.
Toca el ícono de la pareja en la esquina superior derecha para abrir el menú.
Elige Tu perfil.
Baja hasta abajo y toca Eliminar mi cuenta.
Lee el resumen, escribe BORRAR para confirmar y toca Eliminar para siempre.

También puedes pedirnos que la eliminemos escribiendo a [email protected] desde el correo de la cuenta. Respondemos en un plazo de un mes.

Qué se elimina

Tu acceso y tu correo, tu nombre y la configuración de tu perfil.
Tus respuestas del cuestionario, tus llaves de cifrado, tus registros de notificaciones y tus preferencias de correo.
Si eres la última persona en la pareja: todas las metas, gastos e ingresos que contiene, y la pareja misma. Nada se archiva y nada se puede recuperar.

Qué se conserva, y por qué

Si tu pareja sigue en la cuenta compartida, las metas, gastos e ingresos que guardaron juntos se quedan con ella, sin tu nombre. También son sus registros, y borrarlos le vaciaría su historial compartido.
Los correos que nos hayas enviado se quedan en nuestro buzón, salvo que nos pidas eliminarlos.

Cuánto tarda

La eliminación desde la app surte efecto de inmediato. Las copias en nuestros respaldos cifrados se sobrescriben en un plazo de 30 días. No guardamos ninguna otra copia.

Mi törlődik

A belépésed és az e-mail-címed, a neved és a profilbeállításaid.
A kérdőíves válaszaid, a titkosítási kulcsaid, az értesítési regisztrációid és az e-mail-beállításaid.
Ha te vagy az utolsó a párosban: a páros minden célja, kiadása és bevétele, és maga a páros is. Semmi nem kerül archívumba, és semmi nem állítható vissza.

Mi marad meg, és miért

Ha a társad a párosban marad, a közösen mentett célok, kiadások és bevételek nála maradnak, a neved nélkül. Ezek az ő bejegyzései is, a törlésük kiürítené a közös előzményeit.
A nekünk küldött e-mailjeid a postafiókunkban maradnak, hacsak nem kéred a törlésüket.

Mennyi ideig tart

Az appból indított törlés azonnal érvénybe lép. A titkosított biztonsági mentésekben lévő példányok 30 napon belül felülíródnak. Más másolatot nem tartunk.
