Entries are encrypted on your device before they’re stored, with a key only you and your partner hold. What sits on our servers is unreadable, to us included.

Signing in with Apple or Google shares only your name and email address with Power Couple. We use them to run your account and to write to you about the app, and we read nothing else from those accounts. Read the privacy policy.

  • Yes. It’s free on iPhone, Android and the web, and everything on this page is included.

  • No. Entries are encrypted on your phone before they’re stored, with a key only you and your partner hold. What sits on our servers is unreadable, to us included.

  • No. Nothing is wired into your accounts. You add what you want, by photo, by file or by typing, and you check everything before it’s saved.

  • Start on your own. When they’re ready, send them your invite code and they join the same budget, with everything you have added so far.

  • Yes. You share one budget currency, and each of you can choose the currency you read it in.

  • Your data stays safe. Sign in on the new phone, and your partner’s phone or your recovery code gives you your key back.

  • Yes. Mark a purchase as a gift and your partner sees “Personal purchase” until the day you choose.

  • From the app, or on the account deletion page. If your partner stays, the shared budget stays with them, without your name.
